SAINT-PETERSBURG, 29.04.2014. Оn Pryaska river Embankment took place a solemn ceremony of making of chestnut lane in honour of 310 th anniversary of JSC “Admiralteiskie Verfi” and Admiralteiskiy District.

In the solemn ceremony participated General Director of JSC “Admiralteiskie Verfi” Aleхander Buzakov, employers and veterans of the Shipyard, residents of the district.

“Alongside with high-powered work, integral strains of the team of “Admiralteiskie Verfi” have always been continuity of generations and conservation of the traditions. The current event is their logical continuation, — said General Director of the Shipyard Alexander Buzakov, greeting the ceremony’s participants. — Today we are planting the lane of 31 chesnuts – one tree symbolizes every 10 years of work of the enterprise. It is our present to Admiralteiskiy district, Saint-Petersburg, a peculiar tribute to the memory and gratitude to all previous generations of our employees and a symbol of future prosperity of the Shipyard !”

The oldest shipyard of Russia from the moment of its foundation became the city-forming enterprise. In the course of 310 years together with Saint-Petersburg and Admiralteiskiy district, JSC “ Admiralteiskie Verfi” added many glorious pages in history of formation of Russian fleet by construction of almost 3000 ships and vessels, and made a deserved contribution in development of the city.

The Shipyard celebrates its jubilee by construction of 11 submarines and a rescue vessel performing its contractual obligations for Navy of Russia and within the scope of military-technical cooperation.
