Alexander Buzakov was awarded a title an «Honourable Shipbuilder»

SAINT-PETERSBURG, 21.03.2017.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov presented award pin «Honourable Shipbuilder» to General Director of JSC «Admiralty Shipyards» Alexander Buzakov.

The award ceremony took place as a part of the branch meeting «10 years of the United Shipbuilding Corporation: results and development prospects of the branch» which was chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. In the event participated Assistant to President of the Russian Federation for military and technical cooperation Vladimir Kozhin, panel member of Military Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation Vladimir Pospelov, first Deputy Chairman of State Duma Committee on economic policy, industry, innovative development and business Vladimir Gutenyov, President of the USC Alexey Rakhmanov and also the leaders of the Russian Navy and the management of the enterprises of the USC Group.

During the award ceremony Denis Manturov emphasized on the contribution of the leading enterprises of the USC in development of the domestic shipbuilding. He made a point that «the ships constructed for the Navy proved their reliability within the Russian aircraft carrying group during the first in modern history sortie to the Mediterranean Sea. The results of the combat application of surface and submarine equipment for the first time involved in high-precision missile attacks including those from remote closed sea water areas expressed an appreciation of the President of Russia».
