ON THE EVE OF THE COMPANY’S 318th ANNIVERSARY JSC "ADMIRALTY SHIPYARDS" AWARDED ITS BEST EMPLOYEES

On the eve of the Company’s anniversary, JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" awarded the title of "Honoured Admiralty Shipyards Employee" to its best employees, and also noted the leading representatives of production divisions with departmental awards. On the 5th of November 2022, JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" will celebrate its 318th anniversary.

The title of "Honoured Admiralty Shipyards Employee" is awarded annually basing on the vote results of a commission consisting of representatives of the key departments and the trade union organization of the Shipyards. The preliminary criteria for selection include the general experience of work at the enterprise and the large personal contribution to implementation of the company’s production program.

The title of "Honoured Admiralty Shipyards Employee" gives its owner the right for additional days to vacation, lifetime preferential service under VHI policy at Medical Center of JSC "Admiralty Shipyards", provision of free vouchers to the plant’s recreation centres and the benefits when registering of the vouchers for sanatorium treatment. During the ceremony the awarded employees are presented with a certificate, a badge and a valuable gift.

In addition, on the eve of the Company’s anniversary, the ceremony of awarding of the titles of "Honorary Shipbuilder", "Honorary Engineer” took place combined with handing over of medals and certificates of appreciation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to the best employees of the Company.

We have the right to be proud that today the Admiralty Shipyards team continues the traditions of previous generations and makes a significant contribution to the development of Russian shipbuilding and strengthening the defence capability of our state." said Alexander Buzakov, the General Director of the city oldest shipbuilding enterprise, in his congratulatory speech.

Admiralty Shipyards were founded by the Decree of Peter the First on the 5th of November, 1704. Over the years, the company has built nearly 3,000 ships and vessels of various classes and designations. In the course for more than three centuries, JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" has been considered as a "testing ground" for construction of ships and vessels of new types.

Today JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" is deservedly estimated as one of the leaders in domestic shipbuilding industry and a recognized center of conventional submarine shipbuilding of Russia. The ships and vessels, which came off the stocks at the Shipyards are part of the military and civil fleets of Russia and many foreign countries.
