ICE-BREAKING FIRE-FIGHTING TUG OF PROJECT 205-007

Primary function of the tug – support of operation of liquefied natural gas berth and oil loading terminal, and also fire-fighting and water-pollution control. Besides, the vessel is able to serve as an emergency lifeboat in storm sea and in bottlenecks of mooring areas of bodies of water.

The tug is designed for operation at an ambient temperature up to minus 25°С. It is capable of operating continuously at a speed of 3 knots in first-year ice with thickness of 0.85 m.

The vessel has two modern steerable pods of all welded structure and is equipped with stern and bow (it also serves as windlass unit) towing winches with maximum effort of the drum 30 tons, brake holding capacity 180 tones, and also a crane for cargo operations with hoisting capacity of 10 tons.
