ADMIRALTY SHIPYARDS CONGRATULATED SCHOOLCHILDREN IN FRAMES OF CHARITY EVENT "SHIP’S THREE OF WISHES"

JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" congratulated the schoolchildren of Saint Petersburg during the charity event "Ship’s Three of Wishes".

The charity event, uniting the enterprises of the group of companies of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, was timed to coincide with the all-Russian event "NY Three of Wishes”, which traditionally takes place in many Russian cities within the pre-New Year period.

This year, the Admiralty team collected gifts for disabled children studying in schools in the Moskovskiy, Admiralteysky and Krasnogvardeysky districts of Saint Petersburg.

Since the beginning of December, envelopes with children's dreams have been placed on the "Ship’s Three of Wishes" made by the Shipyard’s woodworking shop.

Almost all the Shipyard’s departments and shops took part in the event. Many employees prepared not one, but several gifts. Those without envelopes expressed their personal initiative and brought sweet surprises – more than 70 sets in total.

"This year we had to update the envelopes on our NY tree twice, since there were so many people who wanted to arrange gifts for schoolchildren" notes Yana Shuigina, Chairman of the Youth Board of JSC "Admiralty Shipyards". "The Admiralty employees were not only dedicated to fulfilling wishes of schoolchildren, but even designed gifts by themselves by drawing beautiful cards or making gift packaging in an original way. Each gift had great warmth. The volunteers of our Youth Board handed over all the collected gifts to the schoolchildren and we hope that they will bring them joy and good mood!"

This is not the first time that the Admiralty Shipyards participated in New Year's charity events. Last year, the Admiralty Shipyards congratulated elderly people living in the lifecare center for single veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the Central District of Saint Petersburg. The charity event "NY Three of Wishes" was participated by the enterprise departments and shops, as well by employees themselves.
