01.11.2023

The large freezer trawler “Mechanik Sizov”, the third in the series, built by JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" for LLC “Russian Fishery Company”, has successfully completed the fishing trials.

"Mechanik Sizov" commenced the fishing trials in the South Kuril Islands in September this year. During the entire period, the specialists from the warranty group of Admiralty Shipyards monitored the operation of the ship’s systems and mechanisms, their correct maintenance, and together with the crew checked operation of the fishing equipment and the fish processing plant.

After confirming the key performance indicators, LFT “Mechanic Sizov” began fishing in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea. The shipyard's warranty team will continue to work onboard the trawler.

Currently, JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" is building three more trawlers of the series. The LFT "Captain Martynov" is at the stage of preparation for sea trials, "Captain Yunak" and "Mechanik Shcherbakov" are in the process of outfitting works on the slipway.

In November, the company will close the warranty obligations for the first vessel “Captain Vdovichenko”. During the period of inter-voyage maintenance, which the trawler will undergo in Vladivostok, the specialists from the surface shipbuilding department of the Admiralty Shipyards will monitor the elimination of the defects identified during the operation.
