ON THE EVE OF THE 319TH ANNIVERSARY, THE BEST WORKERS WERE AWARDED AT ADMIRALTY SHIPYARDS

On the eve of the Plant Day, JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" (part of the USC) traditionally awarded the best employees. On November 5, 2023, the oldest shipbuilding enterprise in Saint-Petersburg and Russia will celebrate 319 years since its founding.

On the eve of the significant date, the administration of the enterprise, based on the results of a vote of the commission including the representatives of key departments and the trade union organization of the shipyards, awarded the best employees the title “Honored Admiralty Employee”. At the ceremony, they were presented with a certificate, badge and cash prize. Also, Honored Admiralty employees will receive the right to additional days of vacation, lifelong preferential treatment under the VHI policy at the branch of the Medical Center of JSC "Admiralty Shipyards", free vouchers to factory recreation centers and benefits when issuing vouchers for sanatorium treatment.

In addition, on the eve of the Shipyard Day, the enterprise awarded the badges for respected title “Honorary Shipbuilder”, medals “Labor Valor” and certificates of honor from Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to production leaders.

– The Admiralty Shipyards have always been famous for their staff. “True professionals, dedicated to their work, work here,” General Director Andrey Veselov congratulated the employees of the company. – Each order contains a huge personal contribution from the factory workers. We continue to build a series of large fishing freezer trawlers, ice-class patrol ships for the Russian Navy, and two series of submarines for the Pacific and Northern fleets. We have a lot of work ahead of us to create a new scientific research vessel, the cutting of metal for which will begin in December. Employees of our enterprise, in addition to their labor successes, successfully participate in various professional skills competitions, social and patriotic events. All this allows us to look into the future with optimism.

The Admiralty Shipyards were founded on November 5th, 1704 by decree of Peter I. Over the years, the enterprise built almost 3,000 ships and vessels of various classes and purposes, and made a great contribution to the architectural appearance of Saint-Petersburg. Today JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" is rightfully considered to be one of the leaders of domestic shipbuilding and a recognized center of conventional submarine shipbuilding in Russia.
